Evening

Its 8 : 30 and I've only just sat down. Cute kiddies Hannah. Sounds like you did well over the weekend. Good luck for your weigh in Tineka mine is Tuesday as well. Atumn good advice from Hannah, I eat the WW meals when I am too exhausted to cook. You can do it, stay strong.
I managed the weekend quite well considering it was my birthdy. Ate over my points on saturday & didnt exercise but on sunday I was right back on track. The old me would have gone off the rails for a week or two. So one day isnt too bad. Today was very good. Plus have walked 3 times so far (21/2 hrs all up) and 40 mins at the gym. So hopefully got rid of the weekend birthday blow out!!!!
Anyway my weigh in is tomorrow so I'm really hoping for a loss at the worst no gain. Hope the rest of all the team is all good.
I'll let you know how my weigh in goes tomorrow. See you!!!!

My weekend




I've got my weigh-in tonight, and I'm not expecting much of a loss. It was a VERY busy weekend for me and not the best food choices were made.
On Friday night I took my Dad to a live filming of NZ Idol - it was his Father's Day present, because he is a big fan. We ended up getting fast food for dinner and eating it in the car, while we tried to find the studio, in the rain! We thought it would be easier to find and we had hoped to get something better for dinner. But it was a matter of being really hungry, really late and not wanting our stomachs to rumble all through the show!
Saturday was my youngest's 2nd birthday party. I tried not to have too much of the party food, but it was a little difficult to resist. I tried to make up for it during the rest of the weekend and I was pretty successful, apart from making a chocolate brownie for dessert on Saturday night since we had family staying! But I only had a small piece of brownie and I had my tub of WW icecream while the others had their rich & creamy cappucino delight icecream and chocolate sauce!! LOL!
Sunday was a good day, food- and exercise-wise. For lunch I made a roast chicken & pumpkin salad with greens, toasted cashew nuts, parmesan cheese shavings and lite French dressing. It was really yummy but it took a while to cook the chicken & pumpkin so I didn't have lunch until 2pm!! We spent the afternoon at the beach so got some good exercise in, walking there and back, and playing with the kids.


I just wanted to share this picture of my boys, taken while Tyler was opening his birthday present from Ethan. They hardly ever look at the camera at the same time when I'm getting a photo of the 2 of them, so this photo is pretty special!!

SELF SABOTAGE

Hey Ladies,

Sorry I have been so quiet, my life is just so hectic, I am 23 and feel like i am about to burn out, so as you can imagine this has not helped the food i am intaking into my body.

I am just over eating once i get home from work, at 7.30pm. What ever i can find in site, thank fully i have eaten anything that remotley reminds me of sugar so i am re-starting my week again today. As the weekend, i was at my worst, pizza, kfc ice cream you name it. I am just to exhausted to think about what i am going to eat, and if i do think about it i am not sticking to it, as its to hard.. I know i know this is not the right thing to do, as i am off to adelaide on thursday, for some R and R, doesnt mean this is going to happen, its all part of running my own business this is what i signed up for.

I just hope i can elimate the stress i am feeling, or i am going to not get on top of my eating.

Well there is my bitch and vent over with. Now i must catch up on the blog,

A big hello to Tineka & Hanna it does seem likewe are the only 3 posting at the moment. Hey Tineka sounds like INXS was great. Hannah I'm offto U2 in November too where are you seeing them play I've got tickets for Friday & Saturday night in Auckland.
Anyway having an ok day today havent done anything bad but struggling!! Its my birthday tomorrow too and farewell drinks for a work colleague at 4 tonight!!!

INXS!!!

Wow!!! I'm still buzzing from last night. JD does Michael proud, there was a great mix of INXS's oldies and the new album....also a Johnny Cash number!!! It was definatly worth it. They are brillant entertainers, JD pouring wine to the audience in the front row...grabbing cell-phones and taking pic's of himself and the band then giving them back....grabbing stuff off people and signing it for them all while preforming....he also came down into the pit and was only inches away from me...although not as hot in person (bit of a weed actually) he's still eye-candy(a sometimes food) I had a great time...just wish I'd worn different shoes :o)

Weighing In!!!

Hey all...attended my 3rd w.w meeting last night and weighed in for the 2nd time...a huge lose of 3.8kg!!! so thats a total lose of 5.1kg in 2 wks.
I'm over the moon!!!
Hope everyones week is going well. I'm off to INXS tomorrow night and got my hands on after party tickets so I hopefully wont blow all my good work so far on alcohol...I don't drink much as a rule...but I haven't been out in such along time and it's the first time in nearly a year that hubby and I will be without the kids....so looking foward to it.

also weighing in

I too am pleased to post a loss, 2.2kg this week and like you Hannah I'm thrilled. I did work very hard this week but did have a wine blow out on Sunday night. so wooohooo !!! Go the 12 week challenge. Goals are to keep walking every morning & gym 3 x week plus no eating over the points.

Weighing in

Well, I'm stoked to report that I lost 1kg this week, bringing my total lost so far in this challenge to 1.5kg. I was 76, down to 74.5kg! WOOHOO!!
Did pretty well with the exercise this week. Did a few walks and got out my old Pilates DVD the other night. My hubby does the workout with me, which makes it a lot more fun!! We laugh and have a great time. It's a 20 min workout but boy did I feel it in my abs the next day!!
Hope the weight continues to drop off like this. I know it will probably slow down, but hey any loss is a good loss!!
Did the Southern Cross Test the Nation health test last night on telly. Even though I have a Science degree and work as a medical writer/editor, I found some of the questions really tough!! And my risk score was much higher than I wanted it to be. Lots to work on there, and a good motivator. Tonight I'll watch "Downsize Me" (while riding my exercycle) as I always get motivated and inspired after watching that show :-)

Monday

Hi Team
Is it just me or have some of us gone a bit quiet. I guess everyone is just very busy!!
I'm still 100% committed to make my goal as I am sure we all are. I've walked 80 min 3 days in a row now and did a good leg work out at the gym this evening.
I was able to wear a pair of jeans to work today which was great as I've been wearing the same old things all winter as I've refused to buy a bigger wardrobe.
My weigh in is tomorrow and I am not stressed if it isnt a big loss as I've dropped centimetres so if it isn't a big loss it will be gaining muscle!!!!!!

Update

It is Sunday night. I don't usually get much time on the computer during the weekend, and this weekend was no exception!
We had a really busy one. Took the boys to the zoo on Saturday, all that walking around was great exercise too! And I was able to get sushi for lunch while the boys had their chicken nuggets and calci-yum yoghurt!
Saturday night the boys stayed at my parents' house so it was Date Night for me and hubby. We went to a movie and then had Burger Fuel for dinner, which I know was not a good choice but I tried to make up for it today (and succeeded, I think).
Hope to get a good result for weigh-in tomorrow.
I won't be posting much this week, I'm taking a week of annual leave so I will have limited computer time. But I'll check in as much as I can, especially to post results of the weigh-in!

Week summary

Not much to say actually, but thought I'd better...still rapt at my 1.3kg lose!!! But I think I relaxed alittle too much, food wise, this week so fingers crossed the scales are nice to me at my weigh in on Tuesday. I've been walking 5ks every day and like Trish my tape measure is being kind to me. Any way take care every one and I hope you are all enjoying your weekends...all catch up on Tuesday...wish me luck!!!! :o)

Measurements!!!

Hi everyone,

I really wanted to share this with you guys, I checked my measurement this morning and I had a significant decrease, I was so stoked. Especially since I had a 100gram gain. I shrunk 10cm on my hips and 7cm on my waist & abdomen. Hooray.

I have drunk my water for 3 days in a row now and went for an 80 min walk today so its all good. Such a little thing and only the beginning but makes me feel so much more committed.

The weekend....

Morning All,

Well its the dreaded weekend again, I have to say this morning has started off well, with me making sure I have my 2 serves of fruit and one serve of dairy for breakfast, otherwise I just don't eat it on the weekends.

Wednesday weigh in was a disaster, the morning before I went I went for an hour run, I was dying by the end of it, and did all the house work, and recorded a 200gram lost, which I know a loss is a loss, but it has been the kick in the pants i needed. And have been for a run every day since, and have stuck to my points like glue, I am lucky i plan the night before so it makes it harder to go over my points.

However the weekend like it is for many of us, is my let down. I seem to loose all control, and it doesn't help when watching TV and it calls you, Sizzler adds seem to be every second add at the moment and its calling me, I did check out my eating out guide to see what the points were like, I think I will pass for sure. But here is to a positive weekend, with lots of exercise and sensible eating.

Hi Girls! Hope everyone is going great guns! Well I am going well. I am off to San Fransisco tomorrow so you may not hear from me for a couple of weeks as we dont have internet access....also having HUGE job changes so I am not sure when i will be back on here to check in but this is open for everyone and anyone to vent and to let it all out.
